This gift box contains a porridge bowl in either Meadowsweet or Coral Beach glaze and a handmade wooden spurtle turned from Isle of Skye Ash by local maker Chapel Croft Creatures.
A spurtle is a traditional Scottish kitchen tool, dating from the 15th century, that is used to stir porridge, soups, stews, and broths.
